UNION LEADERS SAY WELCOME! The merger between the Broward Teachers Union and former Broward ParaProfessionals Association is official. Until the BTU launches its new website, this will be the home on the web for the BTU-ESP Unit members. Once the new site is completed, all of BTU's four units will be combined into one union website.
All former PPA members are official BTU-ESP members of the BTU and all PPA building representatives are official BTU stewards. BTU-EP stewards are asked to meet with former PPA building representatives and welcome them. BTU stewards will remain responsible for instructional staff, but are asked to assist BTU's ESP stewards in understanding BTU protocols in representing our new members.
